Is it sore?
This is a very commonly asked question. A good application of our topical anaesthetic cream can minimise discomfort.
How long does the result last?
The results may last up to 12months. Although each individual can metabolise the Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Filler differently. Some clients may get longer and others may require a repeat treatment sooner.

Is it safe?
There is always a risk with any dermal filler procedure. The risk is significantly reduced when this treatment is carried out by an experienced practitioner who is trained in dealing with all complications that can arise.
In Scotland all registered Medical/Dental practitioners must be registered and inspected by Healthcare Improvement Scotland.

Are there any risks or side effects?
Most common side effects are bruising, redness and swelling.
The biggest risks occur from inexperienced injectors with poor knowledge of anatomy. Make sure you have these treatments in an HIS regulated clinic and ensure the practitioner is competent in dealing with complications and can dissolve the product if necessary with a prescription only medicine called ‘Hyalase’.
